Obituary of Cynthia Lynn Antico

Cynthia Lynn Lasky Antico, a caring wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend, left this world after a courageous battle on June 27, 2023 at the age of 56. Cindy brought joy and happiness to all since the moment she was born on January 11, 1967, to her loving parents James and Dorothy (predeceased) Lasky. Raised in Freehold Township, NJ, Cindy led an active life, cheerleading for Freehold High School, graduating in 1985 and went on to earn her bachelor's degree at Georgian Court University in 1990. 

Cynthia married the love of her life and soulmate, Eric James Antico, Sr. on May 16, 1993. A love that began as childhood friends, turned into a marriage that is surpassed by none. They began their married life together in Freehold and raised 6 beautiful children. Cindy is predeceased by her eldest son Eric Jr. in 2019 and is survived by her loving husband Eric, her daughter Alexandra Auricchio (husband Neil), Angelo, Anthony, James and her youngest daughter, Elena. She will be sorely missed by her parents James Lasky, Diane and Anthony Antico, as well as by her numerous siblings, nieces, nephews and friends.

Cindy had a love for music, dancing and simply spending time with her family. She took great pride in seeing her daughters' dance recitals and adored the artwork crafted by all of her children. Cindy loved spending time in the kitchen with her husband, creating delicious meals for their family and her meatballs were one-of-a-kind. The entire family looked forward to their special Christmas dinner every year! It was a celebration of Christ's birth and Cindy took great pride in making the day special for all. Family was most important in Cindy's life... Nothing took precedence over her making sure her family was well cared for. She is smiling in Heaven now with her son Eric Jr. and will be smiling down upon us everyday.

A devout Catholic, and parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church, Cindy has a special devotion to the Blessed Mother. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Rose of Lima Church, 16 McLean St., Freehold, NJ 07728
