Obituary of Robert Irwin Needle

Robert Irwin Needle, 64, of Manalapan, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Centra State Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born in Manhattan, and lived in Marlboro for 28 years, where he and his wife, Laura raised three daughters. He moved to Manalapan last year. Robert was an Executive Vice President of Global Sales for DG3, in Jersey City for over 28 years. Robert loved his girls more than anything and spending time with his family, including his beloved dog, Brady. He could often be found cycling, swimming, completing biathlons, and golfing with friends.

Robert was predeceased by his father Morris Needle. He is survived by his mother Joan Needle; his loving wife Laura Needle; daughters Alexandra Santangelo (Kyle) of Colts Neck, Meredith Needle of New York City, and Elizabeth Arnold (Alex) of Freehold; brother Jeffrey Needle of West Palm Beach, and grandchildren Annie and Luke.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Wednesday, May 24, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM. Entombment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum.

Shiva will be observed at the Needle residence following entombment.
