Obituary of Antoinette Romano

Antoinette Romano, 84, of Waretown, NJ formerly of Manalapan and Newark, NJ died peacefully in the arms of God on Saturday, May 20, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Brooklyn and was a homemaker for her family.  Antoinette, also known as “Chet” enjoyed cooking and watching her gameshows.  She loved being with her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

Antoinette was pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years, Salvatore Romano and her parents, Yolanda and Frank Testa.  She is survived by her six children. Albert (Barbara), Sal (Joann), Mike (Dawn), Tina (Bobby), Loni (Jon) and Frank (Larraine).  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amanda (Tom), Krystal (Troy), Michael Jr (Harlea), Marissa, Robert, Molly, Emily, Jonathan, Frank, Alissa, and her great-grandchildren, Everett and Hayden and Antoinette’s brothers, Butch (Carol) and Mike and many loving nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 3:00 -8:00 pm at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ 07726.  A Funeral Liturgy will be on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Gabriel’s Main Church, in Marlboro.  Entombment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery in Marlboro.
