Obituary of Constance LaPlaca

Constance "Connie" LaPlaca (Accisano), life-long resident of Freehold, was called to Heaven on April 26, 2023, to rejoin her husband Peter J. LaPlaca. She was 100 years young. Connie, known by many as "Mommy," passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. She was deeply loved by her family and extended family of compassionate caretakers.

Connie devoted her life to raising her family, as well as caring for her late husband Peter. A devout member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Freehold, she would often be found praying the rosary in her favorite chair and thanking God for the many blessings in her life.

She is survived by her children: Joanne (& Tom), Peter (& Lark), Carole (& Michael), Robert (& Theresa), and Susan (& Tom); grandchildren: Peter, Greg (& Denise), Rob (& Emily), Jenn & Adam, TJ, Chris (& Katherine), Sally (& Matthew), Kate, and Nicole (& Michael); and great-grandchildren: Alexis (& Zach), Lauren, Mia, Riley, Frank, Theodore, and Alexander.

The family is especially grateful for the endless compassionate care given to her by her angels on Earth - Mercy, Lovelette, and Lori.
 

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Freeman's Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold from 1:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, April 30. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am, Monday, May 1^st at St. Rose of Lima Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold.
