Obituary of Priscilla Brennan

Please share a memory of Priscilla to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Priscilla met the love of her life - George Brennan Sr. -  in the parking lot of a restaurant in Staten Island, NY, when the handsome young bouncer responded to help after she had closed a car door on her finger.
They fell in love and spent just shy of 38 years together as man and wife. Priscilla was a devoted homemaker who tirelessly supported the many interests and activities of her three children: George Jr., Drew, and Melissa. Priscilla's Roman Catholic faith was incredibly important to her, and she rarely if ever missed mass at either St. Thomas the Apostle in Old Bridge, or St. Thomas More in Manalapan.

Priscilla's second greatest love was becoming a grandmother. First Sophia, then twins George and Samantha, and finally Gabriella. Priscilla spent her post-widow years entirely focused on her grandchildren and enjoyed countless memories, milestones, and achievements with them. Priscilla spent innumerable hours of quality time with daughter Meilssa and son-in-law Jason. She also enjoyed traveling with her Manalapan Seniors group, and visiting daughter-in-law Maria's wonderful family in Colombia, South America. Priscilla was the oldest of two children. She and younger brother Julius were born and raised in Staten Island, NY by first generation Italian-American parents Anthony Tonelli and Rose Tonelli (née Grasso).

Priscilla was predeceased 18 years by her loving husband, who has waited patiently - and now finally reunited with his beautiful bride for all eternity.

Friends and family are invited to pay respects on Wednesday, March 29th, from 4pm to 8pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan NJ.

A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge NJ, on Thursday, March 30th at 10:15am. Interment will follow at St.
Peter's Cemetery in Staten Island, NY. To leave a condolence or find directions, visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com
