Obituary of Thomas S. Sofield

Thomas S. Sofield, 76, of Freehold Township, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. Thomas was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He was employed as an electrician for IBEW Local 456 for over 50 years. He had a love for cars, bike riding and maintaining his lawn.

Thomas was predeceased by his father Charles Sofield and mother Emma Sofield and his brother Charles Sofield, Jr. and spouse Carole Sofield.  He is survived by his wife Patricia Sofield; his son Thomas Sofield and wife Lora and son Timothy Sofield; his twin brother John Sofield and his wife Nina and his grandchildren Andrew, Matthew, Emma, Colleen and Paige.                         

Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, March 30^th , from 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home at 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ.   A funeral liturgy will be held at 10:30a.m. on Friday, March 31^st at St. Rose of Lima Church in Freehold, NJ.
