Obituary of Michael M Crawford
Michael “Mickey” Crawford, 89, of Freehold, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, at The Manor in Freehold. Michael was born in Princeton, New Jersey. Mickey enjoyed spending time with his family at Fort Myers beach in Florida and their Pocono house in Pennsylvania. Michael could often be found playing golf and was an avid Yankee fan. In his early years he worked part time at the Freehold Race Track before becoming a sales manager at Prudential Insurance, and enjoyed nearly 30 years of retirement.
Michael was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Crawford; siblings Robert and Carroll Crawford; and son Robert “Glenn” Rhodes and Son-in-law Dennis Ulikowski. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Marlene Crawford; daughters Joan Ulikowski and Kathy (Danny) Barkalow; son Michael (Vicki) Crawford; grandchildren Dennis, Michael, Chris, Jen, Joey, Mike, Nichole and great-grandchildren Jaclyn, Michael, Alexis, Luke, Payton, Hailey, Grayson and Easton.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, March 27th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral liturgy will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, March 28th at St. Rose of Lima Church, 16 Mc Lean Street, Freehold. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
