I am very sorry to hear about Chef Keith's passing. Many years ago I had the privilege of working under his supervision in New York and always had the utmost admiration for his professionalism and kindness. He was well-liked and had a great sense of humor as well. My thoughts and love to his family and friends.

I am deeply sad to hear about Chef Keith's passing. I worked under his supervision as an expediter, waiter and in many other roles at Between the Bread and Aglio & Olio Restaurant in NYC during the early 90's. My sister Cristiana - who also worked at the catering business - and I will always have a profound admiration of Chef Keith's professionalism, carisma and leadership. Despite losing touch with him after many years we still reminisce about those first years living in NY and having the opportunity to meet such a generous person. He'll always be remembered by us. My sincere condolences to Keith's family and friends

Keith was the first chef I ever worked for at The Vinegar Factory [1996]. I remember being amazed at the amount of work he could do and the speed at which he could do it. I learned much of what I know and how I do what I do because of him. I remember his floppy hat, his piercing eyes, him always referring to the chef he worked under “the German”, his easy smile and his cackling laugh. He spoke often of his wife and kids and he was an inspiration. I wouldn’t be who I am were it not for him. There isn’t more than a day or two that passes when I don’t think of him—there aren’t many people you come by in life that you can say that about and I was saddened to learn of his passing.

I was fortunate to work for Keith many years ago. He had such a profound effect on me and my career. His work ethic, sense of fairness, ability to prioritize, organize and accomplish tasks seemingly effortlessly are still topics of conversation among myself and the other people I am in contact with from the vinegar factory. The world is better for having him in it. M condolences to his family and friends.

I always felt a connection with Keith, having been born a day apart. Always had fun hanging out with him, l’ll never forget the time he spent taking Dee and I on a tour of the Vinegar Factory. It was amazing what he accomplished there and it was obvious how proud he was of the whole operation. RIP “brother”

As a little brother, you came out and helped so much after Kevin’s stroke. We couldn’t fall into the doldrums when you were around, because it simply wasn’t possible. You and Karen were like Yin and Yang, and there was always a dog in there, somewhere, too. Thank you for taking in stray Eldridges after our fire.
Every conversation we had always included an update on Ryan, Jenna and Karen, so even though we never lived close by, we always felt so connected, and we still do.
You were the Best Man at our wedding - and that term really still fits. The Best Man. We love you and will miss you
