Obituary of William Daniel Clark

William Clark, 90, of Freehold Township, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born and raised in Newark he had resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township before moving to Freehold in 1994. He retired in 1982 as a police officer for the City of Newark. Mr. Clark was a proud World War II Marine Corps veteran and a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Freehold. William was predeceased by his son, William. He is survived by his wife, Martha; his three sons, Mark of Lumberton, Brian of Ocean and Scott of Raleigh, NC; his two daughters and their spouses, Colleen and Ralph Ercole of Morristown and Patrice and Paul Stenftennagel of Manalapan; 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, Lily and Tess. Friends and family are invited to visit at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E Main St, Freehold on Tuesday, February 10, from 4 to 8 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold. Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
