Obituary of Robert Charles Gilpin Sr.

Robert Charles Gilpin Sr., 75, of Manalapan, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Robert was born in Brooklyn, New York, and resided in Manalapan for 46 years. He was a lifetime member of Steamfitters Local 638 who worked as a steamfitter in NY for 40 years. Robert loved rooting for the NY Jets, traveling, coin collecting, playing bingo, reading and driving to the beach, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. 

Robert is predeceased by his brothers Herbert and Edward.  He is survived by his wife Mary; daughter Noreen and her husband Jason; son Robert and his wife Katie; his brother Walter and his wife Eileen; sisters in law Jane and RoseAnn and grandchildren Jared, Andrew and Ava.
