Frank, Frankie, Frankie my friend!!! You were the first person I met when I started my 41 year career with the Bell System (Western Electric) on June 6, 1966. That's right, 6/6/66. I was only 17 and you,18. I'll never forget our supervisor, John, saying to me "this is Frank Motondo. You're sharing a locker with him. Frank, show Ken the locker room." And you said, " hey, how ya doin? Follow me! now this is our locker. Keep it clean!" But you never complained about the Playboy center folds I put up inside the door! (LOL). We had the coolest locker in the entire dept.. And that was the beginning of one fantastic friendship that continued to today! I added below one of the latest dinners we went to withthe WECO gang. I always save you a seat next to me to make sure we got the first serving of all the food (again LOL) and looked forward to it twice a year.
Frankie, I'll never forget you buddy, always in my prayers. Rest in peace my friend!

To know Frank was to love Frank. Being around him felt like being wrapped in a big, warm blanket. My family knew Frank and Linda from many years of neighborly get togethers on Keogh Street in Burlington, NC, with Roger and Betty King and family. He was truly a friend to all, a kind and jovial soul. He was taken from us much too soon and our sorrow is deep and inconsolable. But since Frank's heart was as big as the sky, all we need to do is look up to feel his presence.
Peace and healing be with you, sweetest Linda, and your beautiful family. We send you our love and prayers.

Frank’s passing has hurt our hearts tremendously and I can’t put into words how sorry we are; what an incredible loss to the family. We loved Frank so much and enjoyed the times we were able to spend with him celebrating an occasion or just grabbing a bite to eat; He was up for anything. Frank, we love you, we’ll miss you and may you Rest In Peace. Thank you for the amazing memories we’ll have of you forever. Luci, Joe and Matthew

We hear all the cliches LIFE IS SHORT, LIVE FOR TODAY, MAKE EVERYDAY COUNT, but we never think it applies to us.
We all think we will live forever ,until we don't and then before you know it God is calling us to come home and we're not ready ,
no matter when he calls us. There is always unfinished business ,from things not checked off our bucket list ,to visiting family and friends we haven't seen and haven't told them we love them, and we wish that we had one more chance to see them and tell them but the moment has passed and here we are again with the sadness of knowing we put it off again because we were to busy, busy doing nothing ...
I am glad that my cousin Frank wasn't that guy, he was always a true Motondo, happy go lucky! I always saw so much of my father in him, his smile, his warmth his funny little jokes or cute remarks he would add to a conversation all while showing true concern for your wellbeing. I was lucky to have shared a few days with him and Linda while in Manalapan NJ or down in sunny FLA, we would grab breakfast, lunch or a dinner, talk a little about the everyday challenges in our lives and always share a laugh to keep things on the lighter side of worry, because we all know the Motondo's don't worry they just shrug their shoulders and move on...
Frank you were called way too soon my cousin, I am sadden and shocked that God called you home, but please give a hug and kiss to my dear father and mother and the rest of the great ones who have gone before you. Love and miss you xoxo
Robert and Louise and family, my kids favorite bus driver...

Always up for a good time. Always there to help. Always interested in what you were up to. Lived his best life. One of the best there ever was ❤️
From sharing the good times, being there for tough times, watching the kids, painting the house, UF was up for anything. You will be missed beyond words. RIP, Uncle Frank
