Obituary of Livio DiRubbo Jr.
Livio DiRubbo Jr., 73, of Marlboro, passed away on Sunday, January 15th, 2023, peacefully with his wife and children at his side at home. Livio was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, and resided in Marlboro for 42 years. Livio loved being a husband, father and grandfather and loved to sail his boat. He served his country in the Navy from 1967 to 1972. Livio was in the US Naval Reserves from 1973 to 1995 retiring as a Lieutenant Commander specializing in Mine Warfare.
Livio is predeceased by his siblings Marie and Nicholas. He is survived by his wife Manda; daughter Manda and her husband Jeff; son Livio III and his wife Justine; grandson Andrew and step-grandchildren Tyler, JJ, and Charli.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, January 19th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Gabriel's Historic Church, Marlboro on Friday, January, 20th at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Disabled American Veterans at https://www.dav.org/.
