Obituary of Ralph John Tesoriero

Ralph J. Tesoriero, 93, of Manalapan, passed away on Friday, December 16th, 2022 at the Jewish Home for Rehabilitation & Nursing. He was born in­­ New York, New York and resided in Manalapan for 57 years. Ralph was a member and Past Commander of the American Legion Post 434 and the Yorktowne Social Club. He was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in November 1959.  He worked for IBEW Local #3.  After retiring from the union, he worked seasonally at the Charleston Springs Golf Course in Millstone, NJ.  Ralph coached football and baseball for the town of Manalapan.  He himself was a huge sports fan and depending on the season, you could find him rooting for the Giants, Yankees and Rangers.  He was a devoted catholic and belonged to St. Thomas More R.C. Church, Manalapan.  In his spare time, he could be found playing golf, drawing or working on his calligraphy skills, and also down in the basement in his wood shop building things.  He was a huge animal lover, especially of dogs.  And one of his biggest joys in life were his 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
 
Ralph was predeceased by his parents John and Louise Tesoriero, daughter Nicole Tesorieroand brothers John and Francis Tesoriero.  He is survived by his loving wife Claramond Tesoriero; daughters Michele LaPadura (husband, Robert) of Old Bridge, NJ; Regina Preteroti (husband, Kenneth) of Old Bridge, NJ; Monique Meagher (husband, Sean) of Howell, NJ; Colette Tesoriero (significant other, Thomas Quinn) of Manalapan, NJ; and son Ralph Tesoriero (wife, Dawn) of St. Cloud, Fl; grandchildren Thomas, James, Brittany, Ashley, Sean Jr., Colin, Matthew, Christopher and Giada; great grandchildren Chase and Liam. 
 
Friends and family are invited to attend his memorial gathering on Monday,  January 9th from 4:00 to 7:00pm.  A memorial service will be at the funeral home at 5:00pm on Monday.  To leave a condolence or find directions, visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com
