OBITUARY

Beatrice D. Kelly-Harrison was born in Greensboro, NC.  Her parents moved to Bronx, NY, where she lived and graduated from Walton High School.  It was there that she married, had children, and built a life with her family for over 50 years.

Beatrice worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for over 37 years.  She was a laboratory technician for 30 years and changed paths to become a unit secretary for the remainder of her time at the hospital, where she retired.

After retirement she enjoyed going to senior centers, meeting new people, and learning arts and crafts to make gifts for others.  Once in a while, she would go on bus outings, which included a few trips to a casino.  Her greatest enjoyments, however, were family celebrations and spending time with friends.

Beatrice had a wonderful relationship with the Lord.  Since 2006 she was a beloved member of Christ Church in Howell, NJ, where she attended services with her daughters and son-in-law.  Watching her children grow into professional men and women with strong values and a firm belief in God, it absolutely warmed her heart and made her smile bright enough to light up every room she entered.

Beatrice is predeceased by her parents, husband, and brother.  She is survived by six children: Octavia & Victor Gaston of NJ; Dorothea Wilson of NY; Leroy & Maria Harrison of Georgia; Everett & Jacqueline Harrison of Michigan; Lennard & Laverne Harrison of SC; and Lynnetta Harrison of NJ.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Kimberly Wilson, Dana Wilson, Shaneequa Harrison, Jermaine Harrison, Maurice Harrison, Lennard Harrison Jr., Elisa Harrison, Jason Harrison, and Morgan Dickens; and ten great-grandchildren and a host of other friends and family that loved her.

Beatrice will be remembered always for her brilliant smile, tender heart, and great cooking!

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service at Christ Church of Howell, December 21st at 2:00pm. To leave a condolence or find directions, visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com.
