Obituary of Douglas B McDowell

Douglas B. McDowell, 72, of Toms River, died on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at CareOne, Jackson. Born in Red Bank, he formerly resided in Rutherford prior to moving to Toms River. Prior to his retirement, Douglas was the owner of Titan Adhesives in Kearny. He enjoyed his time being a member of the ski patrol team at Hunter Mountain and enjoyed fishing and boating. He is survived by his two daughters; Debbie and her husband Jim King of Freehold and Donna Cremin of Southbury, CT., 6 grandchildren; James, Jennifer and John King and Ryan, Tyler and Dylan Cremin and his companion Monika Alfano of Brick. Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday, Feb. 4th, from 6 to 9 PM, with a funeral service during the visitation at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. Interment will be private.
