Obituary of Andres Irizarry-Falto

Andres Irizarry-Falto, 79, of New York City, passed away on Monday, December 5th, 2022, at Springpoint Living at Manalapan Assisted Living in Manalapan, NJ. Andres was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and resided in New York City for 50 years.
 
Andres is survived by his loving wife Camelia (nee Montalvo); son Andy and his wife Megan and grandchildren Maggie, Andrew and Matthew. 
 
He served in the United States Army from 1961- 1963 in Germany. He was a graduate of UPR (Recinto Universitario de Mayaguez) and worked for the New York City Water Department for 30 years. Andres was an active member of the Puerto Rican community and a member of the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Organization for over 40 years. He was a global traveler in his later years, enjoyed cruising with his family and loved spending winters with Camelia at their seaside condo in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Andres was a devoted husband, father and abuelo and a friend to everyone he met. 
 
Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, December 9th, from 2:00pm to 7:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 10th at 10:00am.
