Obituary of Rosario Intravaia

Rosario Intravaia, 86, of Manalapan, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at Centra State Medical Center. Rosario was born in Sicily, Italy and lived in Brooklyn until he moved to New Jersey 21 years ago. He was a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church and of Torretta Social Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, eating, hunting and wine making.

Rosario was predeceased by his father and mother Ignazio and Rosaria Intravaia. He is survived by his wife Rosaria Intravaia of 61 years; his son and daughter-in-law Iggie and Teresa Intravaia of Staten Island, NY; his two daughters and their spouses Rosaria and Vincent LoPreto of Manalapan, NJ and Rosa and Lorenzo Dibari of Manalapan, NJ; his two sisters Gina DiMaggio and Lilla Lentini; his six grandchildren Daniel, Gabrielle, Peter, Christina, Tiffany and Sarina and his Great-grandson Joseph.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, November 4th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church on Saturday November 5^th, at 11:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum.
