Obituary of Lucy Anastasio

Lucy Anastasio, 91, of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Sunnyside Manor. Lucy was born in Brooklyn, New York, and resided in Manalapan for 41 years before moving to Jackson. 

Lucy was predeceased by her sisters Anne and Mary.  Lucy is survived by her husband of 69 years James, son Michael and his wife Amy; daughter Janis Masco and her husband Pasquale; and beloved granddaughter, Anastasia as well as many nieces and nephews.

Lucy worked at Christian Brother’s Academy for over 20 years in their Development office.  In her spare time, she loved to crochet and cook Italian meals for her loved ones.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and life-long friends.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, November 3rd, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan on Friday, November 4 th at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C.
