Obituary of Victor Gonnelli

Victor A. Gonnelli, 93, of Manalapan, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Bartley Healthcare. Victor was born in Newark, New Jersey and lived in Belleville before retiring in Manalapan. Victor was the owner of Victor's Cleaners in Bloomfield NJ for 30 years.  He enjoyed golf which he played into his 80’s, racket ball, skeet shooting and was an avid photographer.

Victor served in the US Navy Reserves during the Korean War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

Victor was predeceased by his parents Victor and Mae Gonnelli and sister Elaine Antonelli.

He is survived by his wife Carmela Gonnelli; his son Victor and wife Susan; grandchildren Lauren (and husband Michael Marinaro), Steven, and great-granddaughter Giada Marinaro.

Victor always had a sincere interest in the lives of his family and friends.  He loved all the gatherings throughout the years.  He was always patient and kind with a great sense of humor and was always willing to help others.
