Obituary of John Sheridan

John Sheridan, 79, of Freehold, NJ passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at CentraState Medical Center. John was born in New York, NY.  John served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1964.  He later worked and retired from the New York City Transit Police, as well as, the facilities manager at Proskauer Law Firm in New York City.  He enjoyed traveling and cruising, playing computer games, and going out to dinner. “Grumpy” as he was called by his grandsons, was always supporting them at sporting events.  He loved to discuss politics and have a good argument.

John is survived by his loving wife Myrna Evangelista Sheridan; sons Charles Sheridan, John Sheridan and wife Kara; grandsons Samuel and Jackson Sheridan; sisters Marie Roberts and Lorna Castro. He is predeceased by his parents John and Mildred Sheridan, sister Patricia Anello, and brothers Richard and Bernard Sheridan.
