Obituary of Daniel T Reuther Jr.

Daniel T. Reuther Jr., 80, of Manalapan, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Roosevelt Rehab Center - Old Bridge. Dan was born on February 19, 1942 in Newark, NJ to Daniel T. Reuther, Sr. and Frances Reuther (Jordan).  He went to Clifton High School, Clifton, NJ and entered the Marine Corps in 1961.  He served in the Marines until 1964 and was a Vietnam Veteran. He has resided in Manalapan for 51 years and was the owner of El-Co Color Labs Inc, a photographic color lab, in Manalapan, NJ for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eleanor Reuther (Kleca) of Leisenring, PA, son Devin Reuther and his wife Kimberly Reuther (Johnson) of Manalapan, NJ and their children Annalyse, Calvin, Jolie, and Antonina Reuther, daughter Dana Dooley (Reuther) and her husband Patrick Dooley of Salem, MA and their children Aidan and Quinton Dooley, and his brother Ronald Reuther and wife Gail of Clifton, NJ.  Daniel is predeceased by his brother Steven Reuther and his father Daniel T. Reuther, Sr and his mother Frances Reuther (Jordan).

In addition to his passion for photography, he was an avid power lifter, loved old cars, was a NY Yankees fan, and enjoyed his beloved wife's spaghetti, meatballs and famous Caesar Salad. 

Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday, September 28th, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.  A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 100 Main Street, Helmetta on Thursday, September 29th at 11:00am.
