Obituary of Dolores LaTorraca
Beloved mother, nani and great-grandmother Dolores LaTorraca (affectionately known as Dee La) passed away on August 18, 2022 peacefully, at home surrounded by her children.
Dolores was born and raised in Newark, NJ. After marrying the love of her life, she and her late husband Joseph moved to Old Bridge where they raised their four children.
She was a devoted mother who put her children first at all times. She loved her family with every piece of her heart.
She touched so many people’s lives. She was a mom and a grandma to many. She was humble and generous. She was at her happiest when she spent time with her grandchildren, they were her world
She was very faithful and sought guidance through the rosary and prayer to the Blessed Mother.
Dolores was predeceased by her parents Mike and Grace, her brothers, Sonny, Robert, Mike, her beloved husband of 61 years Joseph, and her son Richard, her heart and soul.
Surviving are her devoted children Joseph and his wife Suzanne ,Carlo and his wife Dianna, Noreen and her husband Manny.
Her dear grandchildren, Joseph, Nora Ann, Nicholas, Angela, Anthony, Olivia and her great grandchildren, Zacariah and Lucille
And many nieces and nephews who loved her whole heartedly.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, August 23rd, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 24th at 9:30am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park.
