Obituary of Richard Fariello

Richard Louis Fariello, 75, of Freehold Borough, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Wedgewoods Gardens Care Center. Richard was born in New Brunswick but has resided in Freehold Borough for most of his life. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and was a highly decorated Army veteran. Richard was employed as a Valet Parker for 50 years at Freehold Raceway and 40 years at the Meadowlands. He could often be found fishing in his spare time.

Richard was predeceased by his parents, Ann and George Fariello and his daughter, Victoria Fariello. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Deborah Fariello.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and Thursday August 18, 2022 from 9:45am to 10:45am, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:45am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
