Obituary of Anna Licata
Anna Dorothy Licata, 86, of Marlboro, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6th, 2022, at home. Anna was born on September 2, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of John and Vincenza Casale.
She married the love of her life, Paul Vincent Licata on November 23, 1957. They celebrated 64 wonderful years before Anna passed away. Anna was a homemaker while raising her three sons. She enjoyed family trips to the Catskill and Pocono Mountains. She loved to go to gatherings with her extended family. She also enjoyed dancing and making traditional Italian dishes. Later in life, she worked as a bank teller for Crossland Savings Bank in Brooklyn, New York. In 1997, she moved to Marlboro, New Jersey.
Anna is survived by her husband Paul; son Michael and his wife Jeannie; son Jeffrey and his wife Debbi; son Paul Jr. and his wife Joann; grandchildren Victoria, Amanda, Michelle, Jeffrey, Michael, Christopher, Anthony, Alexandra and Paul III; and great grandchildren Jack, Valerie, Angelica, Bianca and Jeffrey.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, August 9th, from 3:00pm to 9:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Gabriel's Historic Church, Marlboro on Wednesday, August 10th at 11:00am. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery and Mausoleum.
