Obituary of Doris Mae Nyland

Doris Mae Nyland, 97, of Freehold, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Applewood Estates in Freehold. Doris was born in Nutley, New Jersey and resided in Freehold for the past 13 years. She attended the Colts Neck Reformed Church. Doris was dedicated her whole life to her family, and she loved spending time with them and her friends. She faithfully served as a homemaker but also worked as a general office worker and home health aide.

Doris was predeceased by her loving husband Edward in 2014. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Dave Vandergoot of Ashville NC; her two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Jill Nyland of Freehold NJ, and Donald and Marie Nyland of Clifton NJ; her brother and sister-in-law, Wesley and Elda Sitgreaves of Parsippany NJ; her 6 grandchildren and her 10 great-grandchildren.
