Dawn Merbeth, 59, of Burlington, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at home. Dawn grew up in Elmwood Park, N.J. She was an accomplished gymnast, a cheerleader for the Elmwood Park Bombers, and a cheerleader at Elmwood Park High School. In 1978, Dawn’s family moved to Long Island, N.Y. where she attended and graduated from Smithtown High School West, class of 1980. Dawn went on to Suffolk Community College where she made the Dean’s List and graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree. She was employed as a Marketing Director for Krell Software Corporation before retiring to become a full-time mother.

Dawn enjoyed photography, painting, and listening to classic rock music. She also volunteered with the American Cancer Society. Dawn was a sweet, caring, and thoughtful person who would often go out of her way to do things for others. She often said that being a mother brought the happiest moments and memories to her life.

Dawn is survived by her mother Dolores Lembo; step father Menotti Lembo; son Russell Hardy; daughter Destiny Heery; brother Albert B. Merbeth; and brother Todd A. Merbeth and his wife Michelle. Dawn was predeceased by her father Albert F. Merbeth.
