Obituary of Philip J Bartolotto
Philip J. Bartolotto, 74, of Old Bridge, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Centra State Medical Center. Philip was born in Paterson, New Jersey, and resided in Old Bridge for 12 years. He was appointed to the Paterson Fire Department on June 20th 1983. In 1989 he became captain and then in 1996, he was named Battalion Chief, and he finally retired in 2007. Philip was a longtime parishioner at St. Ambrose Church. Philip was a loving father, husband and grandfather. He was an avid golfer and fisherman who could be found at Freehold racetrack enjoying the horses on the weekends. He whole heartedly lived most days to be watching his five grandchildren participate in their various sports.
Philip is predeceased by his parents Philip and Doris. He is survived by his wife Janice; son James and his wife Sharon; son Philip; sister Karen and her husband Stuart; and grandchildren Alexandria, James, Nikolas, Victoria and Aubrey. .
Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, May 26th, 2022 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge on Friday, May 27th, 2022 at 10:30am.
