Aunt Jackie was like a mother to me when I was a teenager because I did not have a mother. She would always make me wagon wheels pasta and meatballs. When I was a kid, I could not say "Jackie" so I said "cachie" She was always there for me by attending my wedding in Iowa and college graduation in Michigan. Jackie was always smart to stay out of politics which ripped our family apart, I wish my family and father could have gone to her funeral, but there was too much strife. She will be missed!

I am so terribly sorry to hear about my cousin’s passing. I remember visiting you guys when you lived in the Pink Apartments but especially when you moved to live above my dear Nana Syd, your mother’s mom , your grandmother and my favorite aunt. I loved taking my kids to “visit” her when we shopped in Waldbaum’s where she worked. I loved her and will miss her. Charlene
