Obituary of Carol Jean Biddle

Please share a memory of Carol to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Carol Jean Biddle, 57, of Freehold, transitioned peacefully to heaven on Monday, May 2, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. An avid nature and animal lover, Carol Jean enjoyed spending time with friends and family at Manasquan Beach, Long Beach Island, and Turkey Swamp Park every chance she got.

Carol Jean was predeceased by her mother, Doris Jean Biddle, in 2014. She is survived by her father, William; daughter, Ashley; and brother, Michael. In addition to being a devoted daughter and mother, Carol Jean loved few things more than being an aunt to Matthew and his wife Allison Biddle; Katie and her husband Michael Tamalone; and Alex and his wife Sarah Aschenbach. Watching her great-nieces and nephews Jack, Lucus, Owen, Haley, Emma, Liam, and Jenna grow up brought a smile to her face in even the most trying of times. Carol Jean also leaves behind her lifelong best friend Jamie Megill and her sons CJ and Matthew, all of whom she loved deeply.

Carol Jean courageously battled the genetic disorder Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia for two decades and in the process became an advocate for organ and blood donation. The family wishes to extend a final heartfelt "thank you" to all of the nurses and medical professionals who cared for her and comforted her at Centra State Medical Center, Regional Cancer Care Associates of Freehold, University of Pennsylvania, and Bayshore Healthcare Center.

A visitation will be held for family and friends on Thursday May 5th from 4pm – 8pm at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold, NJ, 07728.  A Funeral Service will be held during the visitation at 7pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, loved ones are encouraged to make a donation to the Monmouth County SPCA (260 Wall Street Eatontown, NJ 07724) in her memory.
