Obituary of Emma Mary Dore

Emma "Mary" Dore (Stryker), 83, a lifetime resident of Freehold Borough, passed away on Mar. 9, 2022. Mary spent a majority of her career at Johnson & Johnson before retiring. She was a strong woman with quick wit and a great sense of humor. Mary was an avid reader and quilter, as well as a member of The Molly Pitcher Stitches Quilt Guild. Mary was a beloved mother, Nana, and Goldie.

Mary is survived by her five children and their partners; Helena Megill & E.J. Lamirande, Pattie Megill & Rick Hoteck, Charlie Megill, Scott & Karen Megill, and Daniel & Denise Megill. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and their partners; Mark & Beth, Emily & Steve, C.J., Sarah, Nicole & Matt, Blake & Brenna, Cara, Dylan, Hannah, Matthew, and Danny. Last, but certainly not least, are her five great-grandchildren; Pemberley & Zach, Grayson & Jameson, and Beckham. Mary will be greatly missed by many friends and family members.

 A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima (Freehold) on Sat., Mar. 26 at 10:30 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at the VFW on Waterworks Road, Freehold. Arrangements are under the care of the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold to leave a condolence please visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com
