Obituary of Phyllis Quinlan
Phyllis Quinlan, 81 , of Freehold, New Jersey, went peacefully to heaven on February 18th, 2022, surrounded by nursing angels at CentraState Medical Center. Phyllis was born on September 8, 1940, to parents Ann and George Lada of Passaic, NJ and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Rutherford, New Jersey. In 1964, Phyllis married the late Norman Quinlan and raised five children (Michael, Steven, Jeffrey, and the late David and Nancy. Phyllis loved to dance and socialize. Those who know Phyllis would say she was full of energy and had a generous spirit. She was loved by many, a devout catholic and a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Church in Clifton, NJ.
Phyllis is survived by her sister Mrs. Patricia Apicella and spouse Mr. Felix Apicella of Cherry Hill, three children, wives and grandchildren, Mr. Michael Quinlan of Bloomingdale, Mr. Steven Quinlan and Wife Jakki Quinlan of Upper Greenwood Lake, and Mr. Jeffrey Quinlan and Wife Dr. Amy Quinlan from Manalapan. She has six wonderful grandchildren Carolena, Victoria, Cross, Haley, Joy and Grace. Her grandchildren will always remember her love for dogs, especially Milo Quinlan.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, February 21st, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home TBD. Phyllis suffered with Lymphoma Cancer for several years.
