Obituary of Nancy Gorman
Nancy Gorman, 99, of Freehold, passed away at home on February 11th. A much loved sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt who will be greatly missed. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Freehold for 25 years. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church. Nancy worked at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for 21 years as the Head Cataloger in the medical library.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband George and her brother and sister-in-law Dominick and Phyllis Avolio. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Dolores and Wilber Lube, her daughter and son-in-law Karen and Dr. Robert Thompson, her daughter Daria Gorman, grandsons Matthew and his wife Christine, Sean and his fiancé Kylie and Jared Thompson, great-grandsons Luke and Nolan Thompson, nieces and nephews Edmund and Lynda Avolio, Robert Avolio, Cindy and Dwight Stillson, Stephen and Cindy Lube, Matthew and Kelly Lube and their children.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, February 15th, from 4-8 pm, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street Freehold. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church on February 16th at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
