As I worked with Jen for only a a couple of years as a vendor to K Hovnanian Homes I truly enjoyed her terrific personality, her ability to get things done, positive attitude, and how she always had a smile on her face and in her voice. I had the honor of working with Jen for the past 2 years. She came into our department and had to learn everything from scratch. She was determined and passionate and it showed in her work. Personally, she was a gentle and compassionate person that loved to laugh with us. We have had much change in our department over the years and I felt that we were finally "complete" with Jen coming into our team. Her untimely passing has left a hole in my heart and our department. I pray for you Jen and know that you are sipping some wine and watching over us all. I pray for your mom, brother and loved ones knowing that they will miss you every day, and that the many fond memories of her life comfort you all during this difficult time. I will miss you. I was stunned and saddened to hear of Jennifer’s passing. She was a beautiful soul who enriched the lives of all she met. I will always remember her kindness, her wicked sense of humor, her ability to cheer a person who was feeling blue. A true light in this world. Thank you Jen for the gift of your friendship. I worked with Jen when she was in the legal department at K. Hovnanian, but she wasn't just a co-worker, she was also my friend. She had a tremendous heart and always had an ear to listen, and was there for me when I experienced a great loss. The world will be a little dimmer without her here. Rest easy, Jen.

For the past two years I had the privilege of working with Jen at K. Hovnanian. I remember the first time I interviewed Jen. She did not have any insurance experience and there were some responsibilities that she would have to take on which would require a thick skin. I looked her square in the eye and said, "do you think you would be able to handle the job" and she looked right back at me with confidence and said "yes, I can handle it". I remember being impressed by her confidence even though on the surface Jen did not appear to be tough, she was as tough as nails! She quickly became a valued member of our department and company. Hovnanian is a better place because of Jen's contributions. There is now an emptiness in our team that may not ever fully heal. I will personally miss Jen's heartwarming smile, her kind gentle manner and her willingness to always help her fellow associates. Rest in peace, Jen I know you are sitting on a beach up there spreading love with that warm smile. We will miss you. Tina Desiderio
