Obituary of Marietta Rinaldi

Marietta Rinaldi, 72, of Manalapan, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at home. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Marietta attended New Utrecht High School where she graduated in 1967.  Throughout her life, Marietta held several jobs within retail banking including head teller.

Having spent her entire life in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn, Marietta and her husband Raymond relocated their family to Manalapan, NJ in 1994, but were never far from their Brooklyn roots.  As her countless friends can attest, Marietta’s compassion and loyalty were always present on both sides of the bridge.   

Marietta’s greatest joy was her family. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond. She is survived by her three loving children; son Gregory and his wife Jessica; daughter Deanna and her husband Paul; daughter Jenna and her husband Thomas; brother Michael and his wife Christine; brother Joseph and his wife Candy; and grandchildren Emma, Lilliana, Myla and Giovanni.  Marietta is also survived by her five nephews, many cousins and friends.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, December 14th, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Wednesday, December 15th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan on Thursday, December 16th at 10:00am.
