I was 11 years old when I met Ester. She was one of the lunch ladies at Jonas Salk Middle School.
She had a wonderful smile and always welcoming. That was 47 years ago!
This morning as I awoke she just popped into my head. So I Googled her. I am glad she had a long life. I am sure it was well lived.
I am just one life she touched all those years ago and still keep her memory.
