Obituary of Josephine Galante

Josephine Galante 95, of Manalapan, passed away on Tuesday October 5, 2021 at Village Health Care, Monroe.

She was born on August 14, 1926 in Sicily, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Marianna (née Ruvolo) LoPiccolo.

Josephine worked as a seamstress at Toni-Ann Garments. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved Music and the Hallmark Channel. 

She was pre-deceased by her husband Jack, sister Mary Bonventre and husband Martin.  She is survived by her children, Ann (Bob), Jerry (Loretta), Joseph (Peter), Marion (Jimmy) and Theresa (Fred);

Sister, Jenny (Bob); Grandchildren, Nicole, Danielle, Robert, Jessica, Josette, Jerome, Nicholas, Joseph, James, Thomas and Megan; and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, Oct 8, 2021 from 11:00-12:00 PM at St. Thomas the Apostle 24 Westminster Rd, W. Hempstead, NY

Josephine's Entombment will take place on Friday, Oct 8 at 12:30-1:00 PM at Pinelawn Memorial Park 230 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY.
