Obituary of Joseph M Occhipinti Jr.

Joseph Occhipinti 68, of Freehold, passed away at Monmouth Medical Center, Lakewood on September 29, 2021.  He was born in Staten Island, NY and had resided in Freehold for 10 years. He served his country proudly with the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement he was a window cleaner with The Window Cleaner Union in NYC for 25 years.  Joseph lived for his family especially his grandchildren. He spent his time gardening and reading the bible and felt he was very close to God.

He is survived by his loving wife Nancy; children Dana (Nicky) and Therese (Alex); siblings Sandy, Anthony, Randy, Vincent, Robert and Ken; Brother-in-law Joseph Benedetti; Grandchildren Arianna, Taylor, Alex, Matthew, Anthony and Sergio.

A viewing will be held at Freeman Funeral Home 47 E. Main St. Freehold on Sunday October 3, 2021 from 2pm-6pm the funeral service will be held at 5:30pm.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Veterans Association.
