Obituary of Raymond J Dobbin

Raymond J. Dobbin, 81, of Freehold passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Twp., NJ.  He was born in New York and moved to Freehold, in 1971.  He worked for Saker Shoprite for several years and then started his own business called Business Management Expertise which was a computer software consultant company for many supermarkets in the Tri-state area.  He then went on to Gristedes Supermarkets in Manhattan, NY as a software consultant and worked there for seven years prior to his retirement.  He also served his country in the Marine Corps.    Raymond enjoyed golfing, the beach and pool while traveling back and forth to his Daytona, Florida home.   Above all, he cherished his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his grandson Raymond “Ray Ray” P. Dobbin.  He is survived by his loving wife Margaret of 58 years and three sons and daughter-in-law, Raymond of Freehold; Joseph and Michele of Barnegat; Kevin of Howell and six grandchildren, Ireland, Mikayla, Delaney, Morgan, Emery Dobbin and Doug Oakley.

A visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold, NJ  07728.  A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church in Freehold.  Entombment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Twp.
