Obituary of Richard Plouff Connelly

Richard Plouff Connelly, 72, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 30, 2021.  Born in Staten Island, New York, he resided in Manalapan for 21 years before moving to Hamilton in 2006.  He served in the National Guard from 1969-1975.  Richard was a New York City firefighter until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, rock hunting and spending time with his family and friends. 

He is predeceased by his son Stephen. He is survived by his loving wife Debra; his daughter Linda Loennecker and her husband Joseph; his daughter Amanda Nowak and her husband Peter; his 11 grandchildren Donavan, Trinity, Madelyn, Joseph, Caitlyn, Patrick, Jocelyn, Maximus, Grace, Gwendolyn, and Leo. 

Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.  A funeral service will be held at 6pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
