Obituary of Thomas Arthur Lowndes

Thomas Lowndes 74 of Jackson NJ, passed away on Tuesday August 17, 2021 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Thomas was born in Brooklyn, New York and has resided in Jackson, NJ for the past 10 years.

Thomas served in the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant in the Vietnam War from 1970-1975.

Before his retirement he was employed by Maersk for where he worked in finance and logistics. 

Thomas enjoyed building models, cooking and spending time with his grandchildren.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of Mary for 43 years; his children Megan and Brian; sister Kathy Hooley (George); Grandchildren Aiden, Amelia and Everly.

Friends and family are invited to visit Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 2:00PM to 4:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm Monday August 23, 2021 at Brigadier General William C. Boyle Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown.
