Obituary of Millie Hegel

Millie Hegel, 92, of Toms River, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at home. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she resided in Toms River for 21 years.  Millie retired as an administrative assistant at the International Christian Center in Staten Island, formally Calvary Tabernacle in Brooklyn.

Millie was predeceased by her husband Peter; daughter Patricia; and brothers John and Joseph.  She is survived by her son Peter Sr. and his wife Audrey; son-in-law Fabian; sisters Anna, Mary, Josephine, Jennie and Carol; grandchildren Peter Jr., Candice, Sean, Matthew, Jaimi and Brett and great grandchildren Joseph, Jaden, Jenna, Juliet, Sofia, Stella, Scarlett, Michael, Jason, Andrew, Samantha and Ava.                                                     .

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, August 10, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and Wednesday August 11, 10:00am-12:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.  A funeral service will be held at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 11, at 11:00 AM.
