Obituary of Charles Ralph Cioffi

Charles R. Cioffi, 75, of Marlboro, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Freehold before moving to Marlboro 21 years ago. Following in the footsteps of his father, Charles was second generation President and CEO of Cioffi Truck Leasing, Marlboro. He was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, Marlboro. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Emma Cioffi. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rosemary; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Steven, Paul and Sandi, and Jamie, all of Marlboro; sister, Carol Basilicato of Branchville; four grandchildren, Tiffany Ivana, Austin Charles, Jade Gabrielle and Skylar Joy. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Historic Church, Route 520, Marlboro. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
