Obituary of George M Scivoletti
George Scivoletti of Manalapan passed away unexpectedly on June 6th, 2021. He was born in Gravesend, Brooklyn, New York on September 11, 1959 to Concetta and Michael Scivoletti.
In his career, George was an accomplished Commodities Broker for the New York Mercantile Exchange. He enjoyed his time working on the exchange floor; he would be upset when there was a holiday and couldn’t wait for the next trading day.
George loved sports of all kinds, but was especially enamored with baseball, namely The New York Mets. He spent his life helping others every chance he could. His tremendous heart and generous spirit was admired by everyone he met.
George is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Maryanne; his caring son, George Andrew; and their Boxer, Frankee. He is also survived by his sister Michele (and husband Joseph Valenti), sisters-in-law Catherine (and husband Michael Catuogno) and Geralyn (and husband Christopher Drury), and his Babci, Violet Schopf. He was happiest when he spent time with his family and friends and especially adored his 5 nephews, 2 nieces, and 1 great niece. He was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Concetta Scivoletti; and his beloved Boxers, Butkus, Hercules, Xena, and Enza (we know they were all waiting for him on the Rainbow Bridge)
