Obituary of Francis John Alwill
Francis John Alwill, 96, of Manalapan, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at home. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and worked as a plant manager for American Can Company in Brooklyn. Francis was an Army veteran serving his country during WWII.
He was predeceased by his wife Katherine in 2003 and his son Richard Lazarek in 2009. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John and MaryAnne Lazarek of Arkansas; his daughter, Mary Montague of Manalapan; daughter-in-law, Pamela Lazarek; his six siblings, Paulie, Katie, Margie, Rosie, Betty and Audrey; his three grandchildren, Ted Mascaro, Jacquelyn Arroyo, Shawn Montague and 8 great-grandchildren, Nick, Josh, Elizabeth, Serena, Destinee, Kaylee, Khloee and Adriana.
A visitation will be on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ 07726. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 11:00am on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at St. Thomas More R.C. Church in Manalapan, NJ. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel’s Cemetery Mausoleum in Marlboro.
