Obituary of Eugene Nels Christensen

Eugene N. Christensen, 81, of Freehold Borough, passed away on December 1, 2014 at Victoria House, Matawan. Born in Perth Amboy, he lived in Avenel before moving to Freehold. Gene was a salesman for West End Garage, Rahway before retiring. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Eugene Jr. and Diane, Robert and Tammi, Claire Flanagan and Beth and Henry Sliski; sister-in-law, Peggy; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 10 a.m., at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
