Obituary of John Anthony Mattioli

John A. Mattioli, 76, of Manalapan, passed away on November 30, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in the Bronx, he lived in Colonia for 17 years before moving to Manalapan 10 years ago. He was a truck driver and officer for the Teamster Local Union #701, North Brunswick. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Irma; his daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Stanley Schultz of Hazlet; his two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Dawn of Manalapan and Howard and Kathleen of Hopelawn; sisters, Theresa Celletti, Josephine Coyle and Linda Struz; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 3 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 10 a.m. at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.
