James “Jim” Bailey, 79, passed away on the morning of May 7, 2021 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Jim worked his way up to become Superintendent of the Hazlet Twp. Department of Public Works until his retirement in 2004.

Later in life, Jim loved to travel with his family to Florida and took many family cruises. He loved to hang out with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Jim was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Scotty; his sisters Margaret (Peggy) and Dorothy.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Janet; his 3 sons and daughter-in-law James and Heather Bailey, Keith Bailey and Shawn Bailey; his grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, Amanda, Danny and Sydney Bailey; his sister Marylou Evernham; brother Edward Bailey.
