Obituary of Joseph F Wojtkowski
Joseph Wojtkowski of Manalapan, New Jersey passed away on Friday, April 16 after a brief illness. Born on Staten Island, he graduated from Curtis High School. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Staten Island. Joseph was an Advisor for Prudential Financial for the past 25 years.
Joseph was a gentle soul. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. A kind and generous man, he took great joy in helping others. He would do anything, for anybody, at any time. Joseph was a man of many interests. He could fix or make anything. He loved to spend time just tinkering in the garage, working on his motorcycle or doing a little woodworking.
An avid motorcycle rider, he enjoyed riding his Harley and took many bike trips across the country. Joseph loved to cook, he was a grill master. He made the best BBQ ribs that everyone looked forward to at family parties. He had every spice rub or BBQ sauce known to man.
Of all his interests, boating was his passion. Joseph loved going down the Jersey Shore where he took meticulous care of his beloved Formula 48. He spent many beautiful days with his children on LBI. There are so many wonderful memories of boat trips, dock parties, and days spent with family and close friends.
Joseph is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary Wojtkowski. He is survived by his wife Cynthia, his children Rosemary and Joseph, his sister Janet Miernicki, and his life long friend, Ronald Wenzel.
A visitation will be Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from 3-8pm at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ 07726. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday,April 21, 2021 at 10:00am at St. Thomas More R.C. Church in Manalapan. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery in Manalapan. In keeping with CDC Guidelines, masks and social distancing are required.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph’s memory can be made to the St Jude Children’s Hospital.
