Obituary of Louise A Farrell

Louise A. Farrell, of Manalapan, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, at Centra State Medical Center. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she resided in Manalapan for 50 years.  What Louise loved most was to travel with her children, including family cruises and sitting on balconies overlooking the beach, as well as family holidays. She also enjoyed knitting and bird watching. While at the Manalapan Senior Center she enjoyed playing bingo and going on bus trips.  For almost 40 years Louise was an administrative secretary to the Curriculum Department for the Manalapan Englishtown School District. 

 

Louise was predeceased by her husband Donald; sister Anne; and brother John.  She is survived by her daughter Susan and her husband Nicholas; son Donald; son David and his wife Janet; brother James; sister Marie and her husband Michael; sister in law Cathy; and grandchildren Nicole, Kaitlyn, Michelle, Breanna, Lauren and Joseph.                        .

 

Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral liturgy will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Englishtown on Thursday, April 15th, at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Louise’s name to the Glenmary Home Missioners at https://glenmary.org/donate.
