Obituary of Cynthia Ricardo
Cynthia “Cindy” Ricardo, 64, of Freehold Township, NJ passed away on April 8th at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune after a long courageous battle.
Cindy was born on June 6th, 1956, in Jersey City, NJ to William and Regina O’Donnell.
Cindy lived in Freehold Township for nearly 50 years and was a beloved member of the community. As a head teller and manager at Ocean First Bank, Cindy was able to build lifelong bonds with the people she worked with and whom she served. She was known for her personal approach and care for others. She took great pride in the work she did and how she was able to support her community.
She had a tremendous amount of love for her three grandchildren and enjoyed telling her co-workers about them and showing them pictures. Cindy enjoyed traveling and spending time with her Husband John and their two cats.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 28 years, John, his children Lauren Tuosto, her husband James, their three children Benjamin, Ryan and Cole of Farmingdale and Jonathan Ricardo and his wife Casey of Washington DC.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Mark.
Funeral services will be held with visitation at Freeman Funeral Home in Freehold on Sunday, April 11th from 3-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 12th at 10:30 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Freehold. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Freehold, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
